I grew up in a small town on the outskirts of Chattanooga. Throughout my childhood and early teenage years, I expressed an interest in cosmetology, always trying to fix the hair of my dolls and put makeup on my younger sister. After graduating high school in 2003, I attended MTSU and pursued a career path in criminal justice with a focus on social work. I enjoy kids and I wanted to help people. However, my passion for hair and beauty never subsided, and in 2012, I decided to go to Empire Beauty School to do what I truly loved. I started working at Dion’s in August of 2013, where I studied as an apprentice under Richard Dion for a year before seeing my own clients. Color and highlights are something I really have a passion for and I strive to create a look the client envisions, whether it’s the latest trend or something fresh and unique.
When I’m not at work, my husband and I love spending time with our thirteen-year–old son, Ivan, and six-year-old daughter, Jaedyn. We love to go camping, bowling, and we enjoy our visits to the family farm outside of Franklin.
